Felted Lace & Textured Cushion

 Workshop is £65. To secure your place, please pay a deposit of £30 and a balance to be paid 3 weeks before the workshop. Course suitability: Suitable for a complete beginner or anyone who would like to learn the techniques covered in this workshops, textures and lace created with merino wool and fibre. 

 Main information: Join Lena to create a felted cushion full of texture and lace in a choice of your colours. You will learn how to turn plain cushion into something special while learning texture and lace techniques. It is suitable for a complete beginner or anyone who would like to learn the above techniques. 

You will learn:

• a feltmaking lace technique;
• fibre textured technique;
• use of various fibre for felting; and
• how to create a soft fringe with fibre.

What includes: 

• merino wool;
• flax, silk, bamboo and viscose fibre;
• all felting tools;
• light refreshment;

What to bring: 

• 2 hand-size towels; 
• latex gloves;
• one plastic bag to take your work home; and
• packed lunch.
