Felted Tassels Jewellery / Scarf

Course suitability:

This course is principally aimed at those with basic felting experience. However, it is also suitable for complete beginners.

Main information:

Let's make tassels and create felted tassels jewellery. You will learn how to make long even tassels fast. This technique is applicable to many projects. Level of difficulty is medium. 

You will learn how to create tassels from fine to medium weight. Using particual tools available from any garden centre, you will learn how to felt tassels fast. We will look into projects where else you can use tassels techniques. 

You will learn:

• tassels technique;
• wool layout;
• mixing different wool and fibre colours to achieve beutiful effects;
• various felting techniques.

What includes:

• merino wool;
• margilan silk
• various colour viscose fiber;
• all felting tools;
• light refreshment

What to bring:

• 2 hand-size towels;
• latex gloves; 
• gardern gloves (I will inform you which to bring); and
• packed light lunch.
