Wet Felted Necklace Workshop

This course is principally aimed at those with basic felting experience. However, it is also suitable for complete beginners.

Welcome to wet felted necklace workshop using nuno felting and fibre laminated technique. During this craft feltmaking workshop you will be learning how to create a felted necklace using merino wool and other materials.

You will learn:

• a feltmaking technique to create fine felt using merino bats;
• working with merino bats
• fibre laminating technique;
• nuno felted technique;
• creating fine tassels;
• various felting techniques.

What includes:

• superfine merino wool bats;
• hand dyed Margilan rarefied silk;
• various colour viscose;
• all felting tools;
• light refreshments

What to bring:

• 2 hand-size towels;
• latex gloves;
• garden gloves; and

• packed lunch.
