Feltmaking Course suitability:

This craft and feltmaking workshop is suitable for beginners.

Feltmaking Course Main information:

Paint with wool and other fibers, create a wool felted picture / wall hanging and learn basics of feltmaking (wet felting) in the comfort of my colourful feltmaking studio.

This wet felting workshop is designed for a complete beginner. You will get an introduction into different types of wool and which wool to use for which felting project. I will teach a wool layout, how to paint with wool, creating interesting texture by using various fibre, feltmaking and finishing techniques.

You will take home the wall hanging designed and created by yourself and new skills in felting being able to experiment and create amazing projects.

You will learn:

  • classical wool layout;
  • painting with silk fabric and other fiber;
  • various felting techniques.

What includes:

  • merino wool;
  • various silk and other fiber;
  • knitting yarns;
  • all felting tools;
  • light refreshment

What to bring:

  • 2 hand-size towels;
  • latex gloves; and
  • packed lunch.

  • Full Price is £65, Deposit £25
