Workshop: Learn to dye wool and silk

This course is suitable for complete beginners.

Main information:

Join me to learn secrets of dyeing yarns, merino wool felting wool, silk fabric and silk fibre. I will teach you how to prepare materials for dye and how to dye safely at home. We will be talking about various dyes to be used for different type of fibre. I will prepare basic pack of materials samples for you to practice during the class. However, if you would like to take an advantage and dye as many as possible, then please bring your own.

What to bring:

• 2 hand-size towels;
• some materials: white silk, white merino tops and white wool yarns;

• light lunch.
