This course is principally aimed at those with basic felting experience. However, it is also suitable for complete beginners.

Welcome to nuno felted scarf using nuno felting and fibre laminated technique workshop. During this craft feltmaking workshop you will be learning how to create a soft well draped felt and various textile surface techniques.

You will learn:

• a feltmaking technique to create soft stretchy felt;
• fibre laminating technique;
• wool layout used to create wearable felted items;
• nuno felted technique;
• painting with silk fabric and other fiber;
• creating fine tassels;
• creating 3D textured effect;
• various felting techniques.

What includes:

• merino wool;
• hand dyed margilan silk;
• knitting yarns;
• various colour viscose;
• all felting tools;
• light refreshment

What to bring:

• 2 hand-size towels;
• latex gloves;
• olive oil soap;
• one black bean bag;
• a small plastic container for water; and

• packed lunch.
