Workshop: Nuno Felted Textured Wrap

Course suitability:

This course is principally aimed at those with basic felting experience. However, it is also suitable for complete beginners.

Main information:

Welcome to my nuno felted textured wrap workshop. You will create interesting textured with 3D elements wrap using a Japanese nuno felting technique. You will use various silk fabric and fiber, achieving various textures.

You will learn:

• wool layout;
• felted 3 D elements;
• nuno felting technique;
• painting with silk fabric and other fiber.

What includes:

• merino wool;
• margilan and various silk;
• various silk and other fiber;
• knitting yarns;
• all felting tools;
• light refreshment

What to bring:

• If you have silk fabric off cuts;
• If you have wool yarns;
• If you have felts off cuts;
• 2 hand-size towels;
• latex gloves;
• olive oil soap;
• one black bean bag;
• a small plastic container for water; and

• packed lunch.
