Dyeing silk materials in preparation to my online class

Hi everyone. This vlog will tells you more about dye process I use to dye Margilan silk, silk laps, silk caps and silk hankies for felting. All these fiber creates amazing textures.

It is expensive to keep all the colours in our stash, why not to dye yourself using acid dyes. It is fast and effective.

I use these materials to create various felted textures and prefelts is one of the examples.

There are some photos of my work below using laps, hankies, Margilan silk to create amazing colourfull felt.
