Hi everyone,

Here you will learn how fast to dye silk with minimum equipment. I was dyeing three types of Margilan silk, rarefied, gauze and excelsior. You can apply this method to other types of silk.

Margilan silk is amazing silk for felting and dyeing. It is so easy to dye and achieve vibrant colours.

If you would like to learn how to dye Margilan silk in a mono colour, then please refer to my other blog, Dyeing Margilan silk. One, Two Three, easy....

I sell Margilan silk different type, such as Rarefied, Gauze and Excelsior and various width and ship around the world. Please check my SHOP for more information.

Margilan silk is easy to felt and is just perfect to make felted garments and accessories.

I have few online classes where I used Margilan silk to create scarves in different techniques.

1. If you would like to learn how to laminate with Margilan rarefied silk creating fine felt with 3D embellishment, then check my the most popular online class, Fine Felted Scarf with 3 D embellishment.

Work of my talented students.

2. One of my best seller is a nuno felted scarf with lace design. I still sell this design successfully in different galleries and you can learn this technique buying my online class.

Some work of my online class students.

3. To learn how to create a beautiful lace scarf using Margilan rarefied silk, check my online class Stained Glass Nuno Felted Scarves.
