Hi, thank you for watching my video and reading this short blog. I love to create with merino and superfine merino wool. It can be confusing which type of wool to use for which project and why to pay you more for superfine merino wool.
If I create wearables, I use superfine merino wool. When I create other types of felt, like bags, rugs, jewellery, table runners, cushion covers or any other 3D felt then I use fine merino wool. The reasons for this are in my video.
There are some example of my work using extra fine merino 19 microns.
There are some examples using fine 22 microns merino wool.
